I would lay Elena all swaddled up in her crib with her paci and she'd fall asleep by herself. Once she got so strong at 4 months, turning over and busting out of her swaddle, I had to quit swaddling and that's when I had to start rocking her. I don't know if there's a technique to weining from swaddling. It helped my baby to be such a great sleeper from the start. Unfortunately, she is too big for it now and I need to wean her from it but she just doesn't sleep as well without it. But I have printed the list in hopes of having another child in the future. This was also such a blessing because right now I am isolated from other moms and it really was great.

Blessings
AJ DeshotelsAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-452802329695708276.post-61488754727070892412007-09-25T01:52:00.000-04:002007-09-25T01:52:00.000-04:00Love your suggestions, couldn't agree more with yo...Love your suggestions, couldn't agree more with you about the Madela pumps!! I just wanted to mention my favorite slings: www.hotslings.com. Target just started carrying some of them. They've been such a huge blessing, from nursing cover up to how small they fold up. I also found the car charger to my medella pump to be very useful. There were lots of times that we were in the car for a long time and I could sit in the back with a blanket and make good use of that time.
Love ya girl~
KimberlyThe Hartzog'shttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00152295997494000358noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-452802329695708276.post-60272549790950003612007-09-24T12:55:00.000-04:002007-09-24T12:55:00.000-04:00Wish I had read this before I registered for other...Wish I had read this before I registered for other stuff I didn't need as much :) Great advice and I'm looking forward to keeping up with this blog!
