Okay, so I know it is not normal to post twice in one day but I found the recipe we use for Thanksgiving and Christmas each year!! Thanks Meemaw!

In a large pot cook a whole chicken until very tender. Cool and debone. Save broth! This can be cooked and refrigerated overnight.

Crumble cornbread in a large pan...push cornbread to one side.
Crumble approximately the same amount of loaf bread (any kind).
If broth is cold heat and pour over breads.
Mix with large spoon until breads are all to pieces.
Add 2 or 3 shakes of salt and pepper. Add 1/2 tsp. of sage.
Stir well...taste...add more salt and pepper to fit your taste.
Add deboned chicken.
Add enough more broth to make the dressing thin...this will make it really moist!
Bake at 450 until it starts to brown.

YUMMY!!! I can't wait until Thanksgiving!

This sounds like a classic "Meemaw" type recipe! Little of this, little of that... lots of love!
